Initial Accesses

These are the accesses that need to be set up when you join the Data Team. Most of these will be handled by your manager or team members in advance.

Manager-Provided Accesses

Your manager will set up the following:

• Google Account
  You'll be added to the core-data-team Google group

• Azure
  You'll be added to the DataTeam group for access to Azure resources

• GitHub
  You'll be added to the DataTeam group in the majority-dev organization

• Google Drive
  You'll be added to the "MAJORITY Data Team" shared drive

Team Member Accesses

Any member of the team can provide these accesses:

• Jira
  Any team member can add you to the "Data Team" in Jira

• Count
  Any team member can add you as "Admin" under Settings > Members

• Looker
  Any team member can add you to the Looker Core Viewers group

Access Requests

Some accesses require a formal request:

• Hydra
  The team needs to request access for new members from the platform admin

Licenses to Request

Don't forget to request licenses for:

• GitHub Copilot workspace access (ask your manager)
• DataGrip license (ask your manager)
• Cursor license (ask Michel)

First Day Setup

Most of these accesses should be ready before or on your first day. If something is missing, reach out in the #data-team Slack channel!
