Majority and Rebtel use separate Slack workspaces. The most used channels are shared between them.

    Main channel of communication for the Data Team. General discussions, questions, and announcements.

    Mainly for Linear updates (e.g., when new issues are created or moved)

    Pull requests are published here for review. You'll get notifications when PRs are opened or updated.
  • #data-team-be
    Communication channel between Backend & Data teams. Use this for cross-team collaboration.

    Updates, news, articles, and interesting reads concerning the Data Team and industry.

Backlog & Planning

Both companies use Linear for sprint planning and backlog management.

Note

Rebtel is migrating to the Majority Linear workspace.

Both companies share the Data team. Tag every issue with the Company label (MAJORITY or Rebtel) to separate the work.

Project Structure

Our Linear team uses the following workflow:

  1. Backlog - Planned work not yet started
  2. Week - Work ready to be picked up in the current week
  3. In Progress - Currently being worked on
  4. Blocked - Started but waiting on something external
  5. In Review - Code review or testing phase
  6. Done - Completed work
